SET AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF VIA THE TASK SCHEDULER
The Task Scheduler is a built-in application that comes with Windows 10, and you can best use it to plan different tasks. Here’s how to use it to automatically shut down your computer.
Step one: Type Task scheduler in the search bar of your Windows 10 computer and click Task scheduler.

Step two: In the Actions pane, click Create Master Task.

Step three: Give the task a name, a description (optional) and click Next. For this lesson we call the command – Automatic shutdown at 12 o’clock.

Step four: Select the frequency of the task and click Next. This is the frequency at which the computer should automatically shut down. This can be daily, weekly, monthly, etc. It could be a single order.

Step five: The next step is to select the date and time to start the automatic shutdown of the computer.

Step six: In the new window, select Run program and click Next.

Step seven: Then you need to select the program that starts the computer to shut it down. Click on the Browse button.

Step 8 : Navigate to the Page button, select the disconnected application and click Open.

Step 9 : Type -s in the Add arguments (optional) and click Next.

Step 10 : View the automatic shutdown in a new window and click Done.

The computer is then automatically shut down at the time set in the task scheduler. If the Every Day option is set in step 4 (above), your computer will automatically turn off at the time set each day.
CANCELLATION OF PLANNED AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
Suppose you want to continue using your computer despite the scheduled automatic shutdown. In this case, you can cancel or temporarily stop the automatic shutdown so that it does not depend on programs running on your PC.
Here is how to bypass the automatic shutdown task previously enabled on a Windows 10 PC.
Step one: Start the Task scheduler application.
Step two: Click on the Task Scheduler Library button on the toolbar of the application.

Step three: In the task windows, locate and select the automatic shutdown task you have previously created.
Step four: You can then cancel the planned action. Under Actions, select the Finish option to cancel the task.

After that, the task will no longer be performed at the set time, i.e. your computer will not shut down automatically.

You can also deactivate the work for a certain period of time by choosing Deactivate from the Action menu. This temporarily suspends the automatic switch-off. If someone else is using your computer, you do not need to remove the automatic shutdown. You can just turn it off. It is also easy to reactivate the task – just start the task scheduler, select the task and click Activate.
CHANGE THE AUTOMATIC STOP COMMAND IN THE WINDOWS 10
If you have already set up your computer to shut down automatically, but now want to turn it off at another time, you can simply change the instructions. Here’s how.
Step one: Start the Task scheduler application and select the Task scheduler library.
Step two: Right-click on the Auto Shutdown task you want to edit and click Properties.

Step three: Go to the New Window trigger section and click Edit.

Step four: Select a new date or automatic switch-off time (or both) and press OK.

Step five: Finally, click OK again to save your changes.
