A few days ago, Xiaomi announced the cheapest smartphone with a 108 megapixel camera in India. Yeah, I’m talking about Wednesday the 10th. And the new Mi 10i is probably the best camera phone for its price. Apparently, the 108 megapixel quad camera module is the heart of Xiaomi’s new mid-range smartphone. Like any other Xiaomi phone, it supports the Camera2 API right out of the box. So you can download the Pixel 5 camera application (also called GCam port) and take great astro pictures. You can download Google Camera for Mi 10i here.
Google Camera for Mi 10i (GCam 8.1 Best Camera)
The Xiaomi Mi 10i is equipped with a rear-facing quad camera with a 108 megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM2 sensor with an aperture of f/1.8. The 108MP sensor combines 9 pixels in one to produce an impressive 12 megapixel image. Xiaomi is promoting its latest mid-range phone with an enhanced camera application. The new application includes a number of improvements that allow users to add shortcuts to different camera modes on the application’s home screen. You can take decent photos with the standard camera application, and if you want to take great astrophotography and night vision photos, you can try Google Camera (GCam application).
Google’s latest 8.1 camera on Pixel 5 has many new features and improvements in the GCam application. And apparently, the developers have already created a mod for other phones. Speaking of functions: The application offers the expected astrophotography mode, night vision mode, PhotoSphere, slow motion, Playground (AR sticker), RAW support, HDR+ mode, Panorama, Lens Blur, Portrait mode (with focus slider), Google Lens mode and much more.
