How can I download videos in JW Player?
Everything on the Internet can be downloaded, including JW Player videos. We will therefore discuss all possible ways of uploading videos.
1. With information about Mozilla Firefoxon the navigation page.
The advantage of this method is that you do not need to download software or plugins from third parties.
Follow the steps below to get started:
Step one: Open Mozilla Firefox and visit the website from which you want to download the video.
Step two: Right-click on the page (not on the video) and select Show Page Information.
Step three: A dialog box opens. By default, you will be redirected to the General tab, but you must then click on the Media tab.
Step four: Now you need to select the video you want to download and then click Save As and save the video to your favorite folder.

2. Using the control in Google Chrome
If you’re not a regular Mozilla Firefox user, you can also use Google Chrome to upload your video. However, compared to Firefox, the steps of Chrome have changed slightly.
Follow the steps below to download the JW Player video.
Step one: Open Google Chrome and go to the website where you want to download the video.
Step two: Right-click on the page and select Review.
Step three: By default the Item tab is open, you must select the Network tab.
Step four: After opening the Network tab, click Multimedia. Not to be confused, because there are different tabs and information. Instead, see the image below to easily find the Media tab.
Step five: You will not see any media in the list. So first you have to play the video, then you can see the video file in the list.
However, you do not have to watch the entire video; you can pause it when you see the video file in the Media tab.
Step six: Right-click on the video file you want to download and click Open in a new tab.
Step seven: As soon as the video opens in a new tab, right-click anywhere in the video and save it to the desired folder.
Although this method (control) also applies to Firefox and Safari.
3. Using the FlashVideo Downloader
You can use Flash Video Downloader, an extension of Chrome, to download JW Player videos.
If the above methods did not work for you, this method will certainly work for you. Follow the steps below to get started:
Step one: First you need to open the Chrome browser on your PC and install the Flash Video Downloader extension.
Step two: Once installed, visit the website from which you want to download the video.
Step three: Play the video now and then click on the Flash Video Downloader icon at the top of the page.
Step four: Click on the down arrow and the video will be downloaded within minutes.
Update : The Flash Video Downloader was also available as an add-on for Firefox, but was recently removed from the browser by the developer.
4. Using the Internet Download Manager (IDM)
When it comes to downloading videos online, Internet Download Manager (or IDM) is always people’s first choice.
In addition to the video format, you can also download other file formats with IDM. To start with, you can sign up for a free trial period of 30 days.
Step one: First download the Internet Download Manager to your computer.
Step two: After installation, open any desktop browser and navigate to the webpage where the JW Player video is available.
Step three: You will now see a Download this video button in the upper right corner of the video. If you can’t see it, play the video for a while and check again.
Step four: Finally, click on the button mentioned in the previous step and upload the video to your favorite folder.
5. Using GetFLV player
GetFLV is third-party software that allows you to easily download JW Player videos. There are both free and paid versions, but you don’t have to worry because you can download the video with the free version.
You must first download the GetFLV player to your PC and then follow the steps below.
Step one: Start the GetFLV drive.
Step two: Copy and paste the URL of the webpage where the JW Player video is available into the address bar of the player.
Step three: After pasting the URL, click on the right arrow key next to the address bar. This allows GetFLV to recognize all videos on the page.
Step four: Now select the video and click on the download button.
