Why is it difficult to stream video to a laptop with the Amazon Fire TV Stick?

Now the problem is that the Elgato HD60 S only works with unencrypted signals, so you need a device that can decipher HDMI signals.
For this reason, you must use the ViewHD HDMI Splitter with the Elgato HD60 S.
The ViewHD HDMI splitter is used to remove HDCP encryption by transmitting HDMI signals.

The Amazon Fire Stick sends an encrypted HDMI signal to the ViewHD HDMI splitter. The splitter receives this signal and makes it unencrypted. The signal is then streamed by the Elgato HD60 S streaming software through your laptop’s USB 3.0 port. And finally, you can watch the video on the screen.

Method 2: Laptop with HDMI input
As already mentioned, the laptop only has one HDMI output port. Although some laptops provide HDMI input and output ports.
