4. Troubleshooting network adapter problems
- Press start
- Go to the search box and type troubleshooting.
- Select Troubleshooting from the search results
- Click Show All in the left pane
- Click on Network Adapter
- Click on more
- The process of tracking down any problems will begin
- Select the network adapter to be diagnosed.
This is an automatic tool built into Windows that detects and fixes common problems with your computer’s network card settings.
It also checks that the network card drivers are up to date and gives you an indication of hardware errors related to the network card.
5. Check Wi-Fi adapter
- Press start
- Enter CMD in the search field
- Select the command line (administrator)
- Enter the following command NETSH WLAN show drivers
- Press the Enter key
- Check the Hosted Network Supported line and make sure it says Yes or No.

6. Manual update of network drivers
- Right-click on Start
- Select Device Manager
- Select the network adapter
- Right-click on your network adapter.
- Select Update Driver
- Click on Auto Search to get the updated driver version.
- When all steps are complete, click the Close button.
- After installing the updated driver, click Start > Power > Restart.

To manually install the driver for the network adapter
- For an .exe (executable) file, double click on it to run the file, then install the drivers.
- For separate files, check the file with the extension .inf and the other file with the extension .sys, and then proceed as follows
- Go to the search box and type Device Manager to open the application.
- Select Network Adapter and navigate to the name of the network adapter (you can also look under Other devices if yours is not listed).
- Right-click on the network adapter and select Update Driver.
- Click on View my computer to find the drivers
- Select Browse and choose the location of the driver files.
- Press OK, then Next
- Click the Close button when the installation is complete.
After installing the updated driver, click Start>Power>Restart.
7. Reset the driver of the network adapter
- Right-click on Start
- Select Device Manager
- Select Network Adapter and click on the name of the network adapter.
- Right-click on the network adapter
- Select the properties
- Select the Driver tab
- Select Reverse. If the button is not available, there is no driver to return to.
- After restoring the previous driver version, select Start/Power/Restart.
Driver updates are sometimes incompatible with system specifications and cause errors, including connection problems. Therefore, the natural solution is to remove these updates.

8. Making a new connection

9. Temporarily disable firewalls and virus protection
A firewall, antivirus or malware program sometimes blocks mobile access points.
If this is a problem, disable one of these three options and try visiting the desired website.
Make sure you activate these programs immediately to prevent hackers, viruses and worms from damaging your system.
10. Turn off Bluetooth
- Press start
- Select parameters
- Device selection
- Click on Bluetooth
- Turn it off.

11. Troubleshooting Internet connection
- Press start
- Type troubleshooting in the search field
- Select Troubleshooting from the search results
- Click Show All in the left pane
- Select an internet connection
- Press the Next button to start the troubleshooting program.

12. Install the driver in compatibility mode
- Download the latest driver from the manufacturer’s website.
- Save it on the local disk
- Right click on the driver installation file
- Click on Properties
- Click on the Compatibility tab
- Check the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode.
- Select the operating system from the dropdown list
- The driver is installed, check if it works.
- Restart the computer and see if the problem persists.
13. Connect your shared Internet access to an access point adapter
- Press start
- Select parameters
- Go to Network and Internet
- Tap Mobile hotspot
- Activate the mobile hotspot
- Go to the right settings
- Click Change Adapter Settings (note which adapter is connected to the internet and which is your mobile hotspot – usually listed as a local connection).
- Right-click on the adapter connected to the Internet.
- Click on Properties, then on the Sharing tab
- Clear the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box (you can skip this step if it’s already disabled) and click OK.
- Open property
- In the Sharing tab, select the Allow other network users to connect through this computer’s Internet connection check box.
- If the pop-up window indicates that Internet connection sharing is currently enabled, click OK.
- Connecting to a home network
- Select the mobile hotspot adapter
- Press OK.
Check that your mobile hotspot is now working. Otherwise, try the following solution.
14. Performing a clean start loader
- Go to the search field
- Enter msconfig
- Choose system configuration
- Go to the Services tab
- Select the option Hide all Microsoft services
- Press Unlock All
- Go to the Commissioning tab
- Click on Open Task Manager
- Close Task Manager and click OK
- Restart your computer

15. Starting the computer in safe mode
- Press the Start button
- Select Settings – the Settings window opens
- Click on Update and Security
- Select Restore in the left pane
- Go to Extended Deployment
- Click on Restart now
- On the Select Options screen, select Troubleshooting and then tap More Options.
- Go to the startup settings and click Restart.
- After the computer restarts, a list of options is displayed.
- Select 4 or F4 to start the computer in safe mode.

16. Enable the option Allow shared connection settings
- Press start
- Select parameters
- Go to Network and Internet
- Select Network and Sharing Center
- Click on Edit Adapter Settings
- Right-click on the Ethernet connection
- Select the properties
- Click on the Sharing tab
- Clear the Allow sharing check box.
- Restart the mobile hotspot.

- Under View active networks, click on the network you are connected to in the following areas
