At some point you will probably see an error message: Something went wrong. We couldn’t hack into the system. Try again in a few minutes, or check your account by logging in. : 7DD0019. Whatever you think and try to do, the problem isn’t necessarily your internet connection, your Xbox One console, or even your account in bad shape. You probably can’t log in and be online because there is a problem with the Xbox Live network.
Although the Xbox Live network is very reliable, the 7DD0019 error occurs from time to time, usually on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Eve and other major holidays. If you see this error, it’s probably not the only one. If you encounter error 7DD0019, it means that thousands of other people are also unable to log in or play games due to maintenance issues with Microsoft servers.
This may be due to human error, hardware or software problems, or external factors. In 2014, for example, the Xbox Live service was subjected to a massive Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attack by a group of hackers called the Lizard Squad, which overloaded servers with fake traffic from multiple sources around the world and crashed the Xbox Live network.
Check the status of Xbox Live.
Before trying other solutions, determine if the problem is a server patch that you simply can’t fix. It appears that this error code may also occur when one or more major Xbox Live services (especially Xbox Live Core Services) are currently unavailable or under maintenance.
If you think this scenario is true, check the status of your Xbox LIVE central servers to determine if you are currently experiencing issues that could lead to error 7DD0017.

Password Reset
If you know the email address that was used to create your Microsoft account, you can ignore these instructions and reset your password immediately:
- Go to Reset Password and enter your email address.
- Tell us where to send the security code (email address or phone number).
- Once you receive the security code, you will be asked to choose a new password and enter it twice. Passwords must be at least 8 characters long and contain a mixture of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols.

Pay attention. You must have a Microsoft account email address to reset your password. If you have forgotten this email address, you will need to retrieve it before you can change your password.
You can also reset your password on your Xbox One or Xbox 360 console.
Disabling third-party headsets
Another solution to the Xbox’s connectivity problem is to disconnect external headsets from the system. This is because headsets can cause interference when transmitting on the same frequency as wireless routers. This requires the following steps.
- You must first turn off the wireless headset.
- Run the connection test on Xbox Live.
- If the verification was successful, you can connect your console to Xbox Live.
If you cannot clear the connection error code Ox87DD017, check the following methods.
Disposal of power and supply equipment from the console
On the back of the router you will see the power cord connected to your system. Then unplug the cable from the modem and unplug the power cord for at least 5 minutes. After that, you can restart your Xbox One console. Please follow the instructions.
- Press the Xbox button to display the instructions.
- Choose Settings.
- Click on Restart Console.
- Press Yes to confirm. If you cannot access the instructions or if the console is stuck, press and hold the Xbox button on the Xbox console for 10 seconds until the console turns off. After you turn off the console, press the Xbox button on the console to restart the computer.
- First connect the modem or gateway and wait until all the lights are back to normal.
- Also connect the router and wait for all displays to return to normal.
- Check the connection to Xbox Live. Once this is done successfully, you can connect your console to Xbox Live.
